This is the
design and specification of all load-bearing elements required for new
structures or modifications of those already existing, i.e. the size,
strength, stability and durability of walls, floors, foundations and

Civil Engineering
This covers the infrastructure on which our daily lives depend; roads,
drainage systems, retaining walls and stability of slopes and banks.
This could be on
a domestic scale or major public works. We assess the need for
