In the long term to ensure the achievement of their commitment to environmental issues, the company has plans to implement an Environmental Management System (EMS), that follows the principle requirements of BS EN 14001 – 2015.
The company will continually review materials, methods, and equipment used in an effort to eliminate or limit potential adverse environmental impacts arising out of our designs and schemes.
We will seek to set achievable targets to meet or surpass all relevant legislative requirements.
We will work to minimise waste by evaluating our operations and ensuring that they are as efficient as possible.
We will actively promote recycling both internally and externally through our designs and schemes.
It is a key part of putting this policy into action that the process of the design phase shall take proper account of environmental issues. Working with the clients and other stakeholders we will work to minimise the impact and promote high environmental standards.
An essential feature of the Eco active is a commitment to improving environmental performance. This is achieved by setting annual environmental improvement objectives and targets, which, are regularly monitored and reviewed.
We believe that effective sound environmental practice is a key factor in demonstrating effective business management and as such shall be utilised as a tool for continued business development. To this end we will seek to train and educate our staff to act in a positive environmentally responsible manner.
This policy may be reviewed at any time in the light of experience or as changes in circumstances dictate, but in any event at least annually.
The Policy and the obligations and responsibilities have been communicated to all employees. The Policy is available to the public on request.
